Kathmandu. The weather across the country affected by Cyclone ‘Montha’ originated from the Bay of Bengal is gradually improving but there is possibility of rain in some places.

The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has said light rain and snowfall has been forecast at few places of the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces. The weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region but mainly fair in the rest of the country today. The cloudy conditions have continued due to the influence of the westerly wind and the low pressure system formed in the Arabian Sea.

On Wednesday, it will be generally cloudy in Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and partly cloudy in hilly region including Madhes and other parts of the country.

Similarly, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and mainly fair in the rest of the country. Light rain and snowfall are likely at one or two places of the hilly and mountainous region of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
