Kathmandu. Former Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) Hitendra Dev has filed a writ petition at the Supreme Court (SC) challenging the government’s decision.

Shakya has filed a writ petition at the Supreme Court challenging the government’s decision to transfer him. Shakya has filed a writ petition at the Supreme Court seeking an extradition order today.

The KP Sharma Oli-led government had appointed Shakya as the Managing Director of Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) for the next four years.

The current government formed after the Jenji movement has transferred him. The government has transferred Shakya from the NEA to the secretariat of the Water and Energy Commission in the special category.
