Kathmandu. Four industries operating in Rupandehi district have paid the arrears of premium to the Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA).

Panchakanya Plastic Industry, Panchakanya Steel Industries, Siddhartha Pet Plant and Shyam Plastic have paid the first tranche of their dues on Monday. According to NEA Managing Director Manoj Silwal, the power supply has been installed after the industries paid the first tranche.

The industries have paid the first installment of the premium for the use of dedicated and trunk lines from January 2072 to April 2075. Panchakanya Plastic has outstanding dues of Rs 24.63 lakh, Panjkanya Steel Rs 52.19 lakh, Siddhartha Pet Plant Rs 1.83 crore and Shyam Plastic Rs 49.10 lakh. The dues have been divided into 28 installments and the industries have paid the first tranche.
