Kathmandu. A total of 128,443 tourists visited Nepal in the month of October this year. The inflow of tourists has been significant as this month is also the tourist season.

According to Nepal Tourism Board, 29,060 tourists arrived from South Asia, 23,127 from other Asian countries, 40,500 from Europe, 6,814 from Oceania, 16,407 from America, 3,548 from the Middle East, 443 from Africa and 8,444 from other countries.

According to the NTB, a total of 943,716 tourists visited Nepal from January to October.

A total of 17,298 Indian tourists visited Nepal in October. Likewise, 13,286 people from the US, 8,718 from the UK, 6,755 from China, 6,366 from Germany and 6,177 from Australia visited Nepal.

Likewise, countries from Sri Lanka visited 5,535, France 5,045, Bangladesh 4,641 and Myanmar 3,038 tourists visited Nepal.
