Kathmandu. Non-life insurance companies have collected a total of Rs 12.65 billion in insurance premiums till mid-October of the current fiscal year. According to the statistics made public by the Nepal Insurance Authority, in the last three months, the non-life insurance companies operating in Nepal have earned 6,88,982 insurance policies in premiums.
Sagarmatha Lumbini Insurance Company is the non-life insurance company that has collected the highest premium till mid-October. The company has raised Rs 1.49 billion. Shikhar Insurance Company was in the second position with Rs 1.38 billion. Similarly, Siddhartha Premier Insurance has collected Rs 1.22 billion in premium.
Similarly, Himalayan Everest Insurance collected Rs 1.19 billion, NLG Insurance Rs 1.02 billion and IGI Prudential Insurance Rs 990.6 million. Similarly, Neco Insurance collected Rs 92.83 crore, United Ajod Insurance Rs 88.29 crore and Oriental Insurance Rs 78.85 crore. Nepal Insurance Company has collected a premium of Rs 70.62 crore.
Similarly, Sanima GIC collected Rs 68.18 crore, Prabhu Insurance Rs 50.56 crore, National Insurance Rs 42.84 crore and National Insurance Rs 41.41 million.
