Kathmandu. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane has been brought to Singha Durbar for recording his statement. He was brought to the NHRC’s office in Singha Durbar to record his statement from Nakkhu Jail on Wednesday.

The Gauri Bahadur Karki-led commission has summoned former home minister Lamichhane to give statement on the incident of Rabi Lamichhane coming out of Nakkhu jail during the Genji movement.

Lamichhane, who was implicated in embezzlement of money from cooperatives, had left the jail on September 24 citing insecurity.
