Inclusive rural development project kicks off in Bardiya with Korean assistance

Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Korean International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) has initiated an inclusive rural development project in Bardiya district in collaboration with the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration.

The five-year project worth USD 80 million has started in Bardiya with the first meeting of the Project Board of Directors held here on Wednesday.

The meeting was chaired by Neeta Pokharel, joint-secretary at the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, while KOICA Country Director for Nepal, Kang Muhon, co-chaired the meeting.

The meeting was attended by mayors of Barbardiya, Bansgadhi, Badhaiyatal, Geruwa, Gulariya, Madhuban, Rajapur and Thakurbaba, representatives of Bardiya National Park and members of the management advisory team of Korean Institute for Development Strategy.
