Kathmandu. Ncell has partnered with MetLife Nepal to launch a new scheme called ‘Data with Life Insurance’. Customers subscribing to this service will get life and critical illness insurance along with mobile data.

Under this service launched for the first time in Nepal, customers can choose between two special packages to avail insurance facility. The first pack of two packages is priced at Rs 99 (inclusive of taxes). In this pack, which comes with a validity of 3 days, you can get term life insurance of Rs 2 lakh and critical illness insurance worth Rs 200,000 in 100 MB data.

This insurance premium will remain valid for 30 days from the date of purchase. The second pack is priced at Rs 39. In this pack, if customers buy 100 MB data for 3 days, they get term life insurance worth Rs 50,000 and critical illness insurance worth Rs 50,000. This insurance package will remain valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.

“Customers can choose between the pack they want, fill up a form, and buy one of the two insurance packs via Ncell app,” the company said. These packs can also be purchased by dialing *123*4*6#. Term life insurance will start as soon as customers submit their Term Life Insurance form whereas Critical Illness coverage becomes active after 30 days waiting period. This partnership will make it easier for the users to access insurance.
