Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the exchange rate of foreign currencies for today. According to the Nepal Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 141.56 and the selling rate is Rs 142.16 for today.

The buying rate of European Euro 1 was fixed at 162.63 rupees and selling rate of 1 euro was fixed at 163.32 paise, while the selling rate of UK pound sterling one was set at 184.38 rupees and the selling rate of Swiss franc 1 was set at 174.74 rupees and 175.48 paise.

The selling rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 91.70 and Rs 92.09, the selling rate of one Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 100.17 and the selling rate of one Canadian dollar has been fixed at Rs 100.60.

The selling rate of Japanese Yen 10 was Rs 9.21 and Rs 9.25 respectively, while the selling rate of Chinese Yuan was Rs 19.86 and the selling rate of Saudi Arabian Riyal 1 was Rs 37.74 and the selling rate was Rs 37.90.

According to the central bank, the selling rate of Thai Dirham 1 is Rs 4.35 and the selling rate is Rs 4.37, the selling rate of UAE Dirham 1 is Rs 38.54 and the selling rate is Rs 38.70, the Malaysian Ringat 1 is Rs 33.77 and the selling rate is Rs 33.92. The selling rate of Swedish kroner 1 has been fixed at Rs 14.77 and the selling rate of Danish kroner 1 has been fixed at Rs 21.78 and Rs 21.88 respectively.

The central bank has set the selling rate of Hong Kong Dollar 1 at Rs 18.21 and selling rate of 18.28 paise, Kuwaiti Dinar 1 at Rs 460.84 and selling rate of 462.79 paise, Bahrain Dinar 1 at Rs 375.50 and selling rate at Rs 377.09, Omni Rial 1 at Rs 367.67 and selling rate at Rs 369.23. The selling rate has been fixed at Rs 160 and Rs 100 for buying and Rs 100.

The central bank has stated that the exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. However, the exchange rate fixed by the commercial banks may vary and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
