Kathmandu. The Ministry of Finance has called for proposals for the amount received from the World Environment Facility.

The Foreign Assistance Coordination Division of the Ministry of Finance, through a public notice, has requested the government to submit a proposal for the utilization of USD 1 million 89 thousand 555 to be received under the Global Environment Facility.

Nepal has been asked to submit a project proposal to the Global Environment Facility in order to utilize the remaining amount from the amount allocated to Nepal from the Global Biodiversity Framework Fund of the World Environment Facility.

The Ministry has urged all agencies to prepare and submit project proposals in such a way that the budget would be released from the national budget system. The ministry has asked the ministry to submit the project proposal by November 30.
