Tulsipur. Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City of Dang has started distributing wheat seeds to farmers. The sub-metropolis has started distributing wheat seeds from Thursday. Tikaram Khadka, mayor of the sub-metropolis, said that two thousand quintals of wheat seeds are to be distributed this year.

According to him, seeds of Gautam, Bijaya and Banganga varieties have been brought. Out of this, 70 quintals Gautam, 90 quintals Bijaya and 40 quintals Banganga seeds were brought. He said that the seeds are brought and distributed to the farmers for the convenience of the farmers.

According to him, seeds are provided to the farmers on 50 percent subsidy. The farmers get Rs 37 per kg.
