Lamjung. Two killed in jeep accident in Lamjung | According to the District Police Office, Lamjung, two people were killed when a Bolero jeep (Ba 8 Cha 3731) en route to Hidikhola Hydropower Project met with an accident at Naiche of Marsyangdi rural municipality-3 last night.

The deceased have been identified as jeep driver Binod Khadka, 30, and Paras Khadka, 25, of Dolakha-4, according to District Police Office Information Officer Gyanendra Bahadur Chhetri. Police rescued them after the jeep fell some 800 meters down from the road.

The injured were rushed to the State Hospital at Besisahar Municipality-8, Lamjung for treatment but they succumbed to their injuries. Likewise, Umesh Limbu, 20, of Sidingwa Rural Municipality-4 in Taplejung district is still safe, police said.
