Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two persons in possession of illicit drugs that look like brown sugar from Teku Humanat of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-12.

Police confiscated 920 milligrams, Rs 32,000 in cash and five mobile phones, two revolvers and bullets from their room.

Information Officer and Superintendent of Police at Kathmandu Valley Crime Investigation Office, Kaji Kumar Acharya, said that one revolver and two rounds were recovered from the residence of Sujan Shrestha, 19, and Amar Shahi, 21, of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-12.

“Our team and police deployed from Police Circle Kalimati arrested them with the substance,” he said, adding, “During further investigation, two revolvers and bullets were recovered from their house on Saturday.” Further investigation into the matter is underway, said Information Officer Acharya.
