Kathmandu. Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the exchange rate of the foreign currency for Sunday.
According to the NRB, the selling rate of one US dollar has been fixed at Rs 141.56 and Rs 142.16 for buying and selling of one US dollar. Similarly, the selling rate of Euro 1 was fixed at 163.61 rupees and 164.30 paise, while the selling rate of UK Pound Sterling 1 was set at 185.66 rupees and 186.44 rupees.
The selling rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at 91.74 rupees and 92.13 paise, while the selling rate of one Canadian dollar has been fixed at 100.30 rupees and 100.73 paise.
Similarly, the buying rate of Japanese Yen 10 was Rs 9.25 and selling rate was Rs 9.29, while the selling rate of Chinese Yuan 1 was Rs 19.88 and the selling rate was Rs 19.96.
According to the central bank, the buying rate of Thai Bat 1 is Rs 4.38 and the selling rate is Rs 4.39, the selling rate of UAE Dirham 1 is Rs 38.54 and the selling rate is Rs 38.70, the selling rate of Malaysian Ringat 1 is Rs 33.90 and the selling rate is Rs 34.04. The selling rate of Swedish kroner 1 has been fixed at Rs 14.80 and the selling rate of Danish kroner 1 has been fixed at Rs 21.91 and Rs 22.01.
The central bank has set the selling rate of Hong Kong Dollar 1 at Rs 18.28, the selling rate of Kuwaiti Dinar 1 is Rs 461.23 and the selling rate is Rs 463.18, the selling rate of Bahrain Dinar 1 is Rs 375.49 and the selling rate is Rs 377.08. The selling rate has been fixed at Rs 160 and Rs 100 for buying and Rs 100.
Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has stated that the exchange rate can be revised at any time as per the need. However, the exchange rate fixed by the commercial bank may vary and the updated exchange rate will be available on the central bank’s website.
