12 injured in road accident

Udaipur. As many as 12 people were injured in a road accident at Gaighat-Kadmaha road section in Bagaha-4 of Triyuga municipality today.

The Winger jeep (Na 1 Ja 8391) en route to Lahan from Gaighat bazaar met with the accident after it lost control and met with an accident along the Bagaha road section at Trinapa-4.

The injured have been identified as Kamal Khadka, 77, Nar Bahadur Khatri, 57, of Triyuga-2 and Pratija BK, 17, of Triyuga-12, said Information Officer of District Police Office Kedar Man Dong.

Likewise, Upendra Sah, 27, of Hanuman municipality-2, Shambhu Prasad Pokharel, 54, of Gokarneshwor-2 in Kathmandu, Tirtha Raj Ghimire, 45, of Okhaldhunga Khijitemba rural municipality-2, Kewal Thakuri, 22, of Trinity-7, Chuhade, Purna Bahadur Rai, 74, and Ram Kumari Rai, 60, of Trinamool Municipality-11 and driver Upendra Sah, 27, of Hanuman-2, Saptari were also injured in the incident.

Four of the injured have been sent to Biratnagar-based Neuro Hospital for further treatment, police said.
