Kathmandu. Finance Minister Rameshwor Khanal has appointed Bhupal Baral as the revenue secretary.

The post of Revenue Secretary Dinesh Kumar Ghimire has been lying vacant since Minister Khanal transferred him on September 6. Ghimire was sent to the National Natural Resources and Fiscal Commission at that time.

Baral has been appointed as the revenue secretary for a long time. Baral is currently the chief secretary at the Bagmati Province Chief Minister’s Office. According to sources, Baral is scheduled to appear at the ministry from Sunday.

Prior to this, Baral has worked as Director General of Revenue Administration Division, Budget Division and Inland Revenue Department of the Ministry of Finance.
