Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Police have arrested a man in possession of brown heroin and cash.

Police arrested 33-year-old Shankar Rajbanshi of Jhapa and currently living in Lamabagar of Tarakeshwor municipality-8, Kathmandu with 6.73 grams of brown heroin and Rs 73,000 in cash.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, Spokesperson of the Range, said that drugs drugs and cash were found in course of searching the body and rooms where he was walking at night. Police have confiscated three mobile phones from his possession.

Bhattarai said that the Kathmandu District Court has remanded him in custody for three to five days and further investigation into the case is underway.
