Kathmandu. The Commission of Inquiry into the Jenji Agitation has issued a directive to the outgoing Inspector General of Nepal Police, Chandrakuber Khapung, not to leave the Kathmandu Valley and ban him from travelling abroad. A meeting of the Commission held on Thursday took the decision in this regard.
Khapung retired from the service today. “Since Khapung has to be present at the Commission at any time for investigation into the incidents of September 23 and 24, he will be banned from his foreign visits effective from today itself. ” the notice said.
