President of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI), Chandra Prasad Dhakal, said that the FNCCI has been playing the role of a troubleshooter in solving problems of entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs and the economy.TAG_OPEN_p_14

Inaugurating the 16th annual general meeting and sixth general convention of the Federation of Nepalese Electronic Entrepreneurs (FNCCI) in Kathmandu on Saturday, Chairman Dhakal said that the Federation was effortful to solve all problems related to industrialists, entrepreneurs and economy.TAG_OPEN_p_13

He said that the federation has been continuously discussing and communicating with the state on issues such as the labor problems of the industry, dedicated and trunkline disputes, amendment of laws for investment climate, suggestions of the Economic Reform Suggestion Commission or amendment of the Black Marketing Act.TAG_OPEN_p_12

Dhakal said that he had urged Prime Minister Sushila Karki and Energy Minister Kulman Ghising seriously to resolve the long-standing dedicated and trunk line dispute.TAG_OPEN_p_11

Stating that a huge amount of domestic and TAG_OPEN_p_10 foreign capital was required for production, production growth and job creation, he said that there was a need to invest in big and multi-dimensional projects by collecting small capital scattered inside and outside the country.

For this purpose, ‘TAG_OPEN_p_9 Nepal Development Public Limited’ has been established under the leadership of FNCCI with a capital of Rs 10 billion with the participation of various organizations related to the private sector. He said that they were effortful for infrastructure development, employment generation and production and service delivery by investing in big and multi-dimensional projects through the company.

Dhakal said that the infiltration during the recent Genji agitation has caused huge damage to the private sector and private property, urging the government to take legal action against those involved in such activities.TAG_OPEN_p_8
