Kathmandu. Finance Minister Rameshwor Prasad Khanal has said that capital market and real estate market should be made more dynamic to make the country’s overall economic sector dynamic.
At a discussion and dialogue on contemporary issues of economy organized by Nepal Chamber of Commerce here today, he said that activism from both markets was essential for the expansion of economic activities.
According to Finance Minister Khanal, internal discussions are underway on whether the government can make necessary changes in the law through ordinance to remove obstacles seen in real estate transactions. He said that the government could make some provisions through an ordinance to ease the real estate business or use the executive powers to carry out reforms in the country.
