Kathmandu. The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police has arrested Arjun Kumar Karki, former secretary of the Nepal Trust.

The CIB said that Karki was arrested today.

The CIB has arrested Karki on the charge of irregularities in leasing out the land registered in the name of the trust. Earlier, the CIB had arrested the then joint-secretary Lekh Bahadur Karki on November 7.

On May 28, 2017, the office of Nepal Trust and ThamSherku Trucking Pvt Ltd leased the land for 30 years. Irregularities have been found in the agreement.
