Kathmandu. The stock market closed lower on Sunday, the first trading day of the week. On Tuesday, the NEPSE index decreased by 5.15 points to close at 2,540.57 points. Likewise, the Sensitive Float Index decreased by 1.44 points, while the Float Index decreased by 0.50 points and the Sensitive Float Index decreased by 0.56 points.

Although the stock market has fallen, the trading volume has increased on this day. Shares worth Rs 3.89 billion were traded on Thursday compared to Rs 3.89 billion on Thursday.

Out of 13 sub-groups, the indices of three sub-groups have increased while the indices of 10 sub-groups have fallen. The indices of hotel and tourism, production and processing and other sub-groups increased slightly. The decline rate of the sub-groups that decreased on this day is less than 1 percent.
