Govt collects Rs 3.29 billion revenue in four months

. The government has collected Rs 329.51 billion in revenue in the first four months of the current fiscal year. According to the statistics made public by the government, the government has collected 77.49 per cent of the target revenue in the first four months.

The government had set a target of collecting Rs 425 TAG_OPEN_div_8.23 billion revenue by the end of the current fiscal year. The revenue collection is 23 per cent less than the target set by the government. The government collected Rs 74.59 billion in customs duty in the first four months of the current fiscal year.

Similarly, the government collected Rs TAG_OPEN_div_6 107.11 billion from Value Added Tax, Rs 62.01 billion from excise duty, Rs 1.61 billion from education and other taxes, Rs 93.23 billion from income tax and Rs 40.54 billion from non-tax.
