Minister Khanal said that the government’s first priority was to ensure the security of the private sector. Good governance, controlling corruption and creating an environment for citizens to live with dignity is security in itself. ’

According to him, the recent agitation has damaged physical infrastructures worth Rs 78 billion. About 2,900 buildings have been damaged in 55 districts across the country, according to government figures. Stating that the government has collected Rs 120 billion from the budget for the reconstruction of the losses suffered during the Zenji agitation, he expressed the belief that the amount would be sufficient for the reconstruction.
