. KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML has decided to file a writ petition at the Supreme Court demanding the reinstatement of the House of Representatives.

A meeting of the members of the House of Representatives dissolved from the CPN-UML today decided to go ahead with the writ petition with signatures, said party chief whip Mahesh Bartaula. Bartaula and Whip Sunita Baral have been given authority to register the petition.

In the meeting held at the UML central office, Chyasal, party chairman and former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli stressed the need for legal remedy and peaceful struggle for the reinstatement of the House of Representatives.
