Kathmandu. The hearing of Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane and the then owner of Gorkha Media Chhabilal Joshi has been postponed.

The Supreme Cooperative, Butwal-based Supreme Cooperative, has been arrested in the case of Lamichhane and Joshi on the charge of embezzling money and organized crime.

The Butwal bench of the High Court, Tulsipur, was hearing the case of Ravi and Chhabi, who are in custody on the charge of cooperative fraud and organized crime. The hearing was adjourned as the lawyers representing Ravi and Chhabi did not arrive in time.

At the same time, no hearing was held today on the writ petition filed by Lamichhane demanding that he be allowed to fight the case outside the jail by paying the amount as per the amount. Ravi’s case is pending at Patan High Court. Currently, Lamichhane is in Nakkhu jail in Lalitpur while Joshi is in Bhairahawa jail.
