Kathmandu. The third edition of MeroAuto Ride with Professional is set to kick off on Friday (November 5).

The third edition of the ride is going to be held from Kathmandu to Kharidhunga of Dolakha.

According to Hari Gajure, managing director of the automobiles, the ride will start from Bhrikutimandap of Kathmandu at 9 am and end at Kharidhunga via Dhulikhel-Panchkhal-Dolalghat-Khadichaur-Mude.

He said that the annual ride is being organized to promote domestic tourism by connecting the professionals working in the corporate sector through the ride.

“We have been organizing the ride for the last 3 years. Its main objective is to promote the lesser known tourist destinations through the ride by involving professionals working in the corporate sector,” he said. He said that the ride will continue in the coming years as well.

He said that there will also be various recreational and sports activities during the ride. Royal Enfield, Hero, Bajaj, Yamaha, TVS and Honda motorcycles are in the ride.

The helmet partner is Hedge Helmets under the Shree Amba Group. Similarly, Dhulikhel Mountain Resort (DMR) is the hospitality partner. The first edition of the MeroAuto Ride was held in 2080 BS in Patale of Solukhumbu and the second edition was held in Brabal of Rasuwa last year.
