Nawalparasi. As many as 20 people were injured when a passenger bus met with an accident at Nawalparasi (Bardaghat-Susta East) along the East-West Highway this morning.

The bus (Lu 2 Kha 2845) en route to Butwal from Narayanghat met with an accident at Khajuri River in Madhyabindu-8 today.

Information Officer at the District Police Office, Deputy Superintendent of Police Madhu Nepal, said that all the injured in the accident were receiving treatment at the Madhyabindu Provincial Hospital, Danda.

A team from Tamsariya Police Post rescued the injured. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the bus lost control and met with the accident, police said.
