Classification of injured in ‘Genji’ protest begins in Kathmandu

Kathmandu. The Kathmandu District Administration Office (DAO) has started classifying those injured in the ‘Genji’ protests.

Today, the National Trauma Center has started classifying the injured according to the severity of their injuries.

Chief District Officer Ishwor Raj Poudel said the injured would be classified as soon as possible and sent to the Ministry of Health for recommendation. “We will classify the injured in a transparent manner. We are working as per the policy of the government and the government will get the details easily by classifying the injured in all the 77 districts. ”

According to Chief District Officer Poudel, the injured would be classified at the hospital and recommended to them. “The hospital has made arrangements for ambulances for those who cannot come for classification. Since many people have come in contact, we will probably be able to distribute the ID cards within a week. ”

About 100 injured ‘Jenjies’ had arrived at the trauma center carrying injured identity cards for classification.

The government has already issued a working procedure on the classification of the injured of the ‘Genji’ demonstration, 2082. The injured have been categorised into four types: very serious, moderate and moderate. Among the injured, 23 types of injuries have been categorized on the basis of severe injuries, 21 types of serious injuries, 23 types of moderate injuries and 11 types of minor injuries. The government has a policy of providing identity cards on the basis of classification and providing facilities accordingly.
