Bagmati. Hetauda: The Kanti-Kathmandu road section has been completely obstructed since early this morning after a truck overturned on the road.

The truck (Na 3 Kha 3192) en route to Kathmandu from Birgunj overturned on the road at Bhimphedi rural municipality-8 of Makwanpur due to brake failure, said Pushkar Bogati, Deputy Superintendant of Police (DSP) at the District Police Office, Makawanpur.

Vehicles heading to Kathmandu from Hetauda and coming to Hetauda from Kathmandu have been stranded due to the road disruption. Efforts are underway to remove the truck from the accident site and resume the road, he added.
