Chitwan. Madi Municipality has decided to deprive the residents of the municipality from providing services to those who do not approve and document the map of house and land.
The municipality has set a deadline to document the service provided by the municipality and if the documentation is not done within that period, the service provided by the municipality will be stopped.
Chief Administrative Officer of the municipality, Jagat Prasad Bhusal, said that the municipality would stop recommending land valuation, banking transactions and not recommending relief and compensation in case of any disaster.
He said that if the document has to be registered after mid-January, they have to pay double the amount of revenue charged at present. Chief Administrative Officer Bhusal said, “We have informed all to document the project as per the work procedure approved by the local government last June.” If the document is not recorded, you will be deprived of the services provided by the office. ”
He expressed the belief that the local government would get the details of physical property of every person in the municipality through the approval and documentation of the land map and property. “It would be easier to make development plans once the status of physical assets is known,” he said. ”
Chief Administrative Officer Bhusal said that it would be easier to get the details of the actual damage in case of any disaster, recommend relief and compensation and pave the way for the implementation of the concept of safe shelter. He urged one and all to document the houses and buildings constructed in the municipality without obtaining approval.
According to Bhusal, the municipality will authenticate it after recording it in the ward. There are more than 10,000 families in the municipality and so far 210 houses have been recorded, he said.
