Standard Chartered Bank convenes AGM, when is the book closed?

Kathmandu. Standard Chartered Bank has called its AGM. The general meeting of the bank has been called to approve the dividend of the last financial year.

The bank has called its 39th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on December 12 at the Army Officers Club, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu. The meeting will begin at 10:00 am. The AGM will endorse a proposal of distributing 19 percent cash dividend on the current paid-up capital.

The meeting will also endorse the proposal to amend the Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association to give authority to the Board of Directors and appoint auditors.

The bank is closing its book on November 1 for the AGM and dividend distribution. As per the agreement, the shareholders who have been traded in NEPSE till November 30 will be able to attend the AGM and receive dividend to be distributed by the bank.
