Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Biratnagar Kings will take on Janakpur Bolts in the first match of the second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) underway in Kathmandu on Monday.
Janakpur won the toss and elected to field at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground, Kirtipur. Janakpur, captained by Anil Sah, is looking for its first win. Earlier, in the first match, Janakpur lost to Kathmandu Gorkhas by 5 wickets.
Sandeep Lamichhane-led Biratnagar is also looking for its third consecutive win. Earlier, Biratnagar had defeated Pokhara Avengers in the first match and Kathmandu in the second match.
Similarly, the second match will be played between the defending runners-up Sudurpaschim Royals and Karnali Yaks at 4:00 pm today. The tournament organized by Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) on November 14 will conclude on December 17.
