Malaysia floods displace more than 10,000 people

Kathmandu. More than 10,000 people have been displaced by floods in Malaysia recently.

Malaysia’s northern state of Kelantan has been the worst hit by the floods.

According to local officials, 8,248 people have been shifted to safer places due to floods triggered by heavy rains. The displaced people have been shifted to 33 temporary centres.

According to the Malaysian Meteorological Department, there is a possibility of continuous heavy rain and strong winds.
