Kathmandu. A tripartite agreement has been signed between the Golyan Group, the school and the parents to study the children of the families of those martyred in the Zenji movement. In the first phase, an agreement was signed to provide educational scholarships to 9 children of six martyrs at a program organized at Golyan Tower on Tuesday.
As per the agreement, Golyan Group will bear a maximum of Rs 4,80,000 per month for the education of children. The scholarship will cover the students’ monthly tuition fee, lunch fee, hostel fee, transportation fee, extracurricular charges, annual admission fee, administrative fee, book and stationery fee, school uniform fee and all the fees mentioned in the school bill, according to the agreement । ’
Golyan Group will also bear the cost of extracurricular activities as per the student’s interest within the limit of the scholarship amount. If the school does not provide additional activities, the students will be able to learn the activities from other organizations and the amount will be paid by the Golyan Group within the limit of the scholarship amount.
Anish Parajuli’s two sons have signed an agreement to study at North Pole Academy, Manamaiju (Grade 8) and the younger son at Kathmandu Euro School Baniyatar (Play Group).
Likewise, the agreement has been signed with martyr Abhishek Chaulagain’s sister Jagriti Vidya Sadan English School Bhaktapur (class 10), Kashyap Academy, Kashyap Academy, Kalanki (class 8), Sauran Kishor Shrestha’s son Euro School Chhauni (class 1), Santosh Bishwakarma’s son and daughter from Cambridge Public High School, Baneshwor (grade 3 and 2 respectively) and Sajan Kumar Rai’s two sons from Tri-Jyoti Secondary School, Kapan (class 7 and UKG).
The educational expenses of the children included in the agreement up to grade 12 will be borne within the limit of the announced financial package. The agreement was signed by Jyoti Gaire, Head of Corporate Affairs, Communications and Public Relations on behalf of Golyan Group, Principals of schools and guardians of children.
Speaking at the program, Akshay Golyan, Managing Director of Golyan Group, said that the commitment to take responsibility for the education of the children of martyr families has started in an important phase of implementation. He said that the responsibility of educating the dependent children has been taken in recognition of the contribution of the martyrs of the Genji movement.
“We have taken the responsibility of educating our children emotionally from the heart and heart, not to promote the business or to do any marketing,” he said, adding that this agreement will not only ensure that every child has access to quality education but also has the opportunity to develop their talents and abilities outside the classroom. ’

Jyoti Gaire, Head of Corporate Affairs, Communications and Public Relations of Golyan Group, informed that 32 children from 24 families will be provided with the scholarships. A tripartite agreement was signed for 9 of the children on Tuesday.
She said that preparations are underway to sign scholarships for other children as well. According to him, Golyan Group has allocated around Rs 1.5 crore annually for educational scholarships. “The process of providing health insurance to the martyr families who are not included in the educational profession is also moving ahead simultaneously,” she said, adding, “Every martyr’s family will be benefited from the education and health insurance program.” ’
The head of the school present in the agreement said that they would support the emotional support of the Golyan Group. Principal of Tri-Jyoti Secondary School, Ganesh Kumar Mishra, said that the agreement would be implemented keeping the future of the children at the center as the school family is also involved in the sentiment of Golyan Group. Martyr Sajan Kumar Rai’s two sons are studying at Tri-Jyoti. Mishra said that the responsibility of taking special care has fallen on the shoulders of the school as their mother has also died.
Rita Rai Dahal, founder and principal of Bambridge Public High School, who is also an advisor of PABSON, suggested that the Golyan Group should create an environment of group meeting, mingling and mutual competition by organizing extracurricular activities from time to time for the children who have taken the responsibility of education.
Shyak Krishna Bhetwal, chairman of the school management committee of Northpole Academy, who was also present at the tripartite agreement, said that the group has made its responsibility towards the society clear by taking responsibility for the education of martyr children. “Golyan Group is also pursuing social service along with its business, which has further illustrated the spirit of social service,” he said.
The tripartite agreement mentions the responsibilities of the Golyan Group, the school where the children are studying and the guardians of the children. The responsibility of Golyan is to provide scholarship money to the school on a regular basis for the education of the students up to the 12th grade.
It is the responsibility of the school to provide quality education without any discrimination like other fee-paying students, and to inform the Golyan Group if the student leaves the school for any reason, is expelled or is absent for a long time.
The responsibility of the guardian is to provide a conducive environment for the study of the students and to take full responsibility to ensure that all the documents submitted under the agreement are correct, true and factual.
It is the responsibility of all three parties to facilitate the teaching and learning activities if the students fail to maintain the minimum educational standard as per the school rules.
The responsibility of the students is also specified in the tripartite agreement. Under this, the students should be present in the school regularly, maintain minimum attendance as per the school rules, pass every examination of the school and regularly complete their studies and strive to excel in their education.
