Kathmandu. The government has recommended to blacklist 14 construction companies. The Public Procurement Monitoring Office under the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has recommended to blacklist 14 construction companies seeking clarification within seven days.

The companies that were recommended to be blacklisted after their work was not satisfactory have been asked for a 7-day explanation for the last time. Earlier, the government had given a 30-day deadline to seek an explanation. However, the office said that clarification was sought again as the clarification was not submitted within the stipulated period.

The companies sought clarification on behalf of Bikram Ghale are Labkush Construction Pvt Ltd Nuwakot, Narin Ghale (Manakamana Construction Pvt Ltd Nuwakot), Mukunda Adhikari (Deepshree Engineering Pvt Ltd Kathmandu), Bijaya Gurung (New Communist JV Nuwakot) and Suman Neupane (Chandra Surya Construction Service Pvt Ltd Kathmandu).

Similarly, Feroz Mohammad Manihar of Arctic Construction Kapilvastu, Prem Bahadur Sapkota of Pampha Construction Service Bara, Tilak Bahadur Thapa Magar of MRS Chyangrasi Construction Service Kathmandu, Phulchan Shrestha of MRS Puja Construction Dhading and Dhruba Prasad Sapkota of MRS Construction have been named as the main person of the committee. p. It has also sought clarification from Kandel Construction Service, Kathmandu.

Other companies asked for clarification include Umesh Lama of Pabitra Multiple Construction Pvt Ltd Kathmandu, PRJ Rawat Pvt Ltd of MRS Chita and Salleri Associates Pvt Ltd Chitwan and Ang Ombu Sherpa Pvt Ltd. n.
