Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Nepal Land and Housing Development Federation (FNDCD) has said that the ninth amendment to the ordinance related to land passed by the Council of Ministers will make the country’s sluggish economy dynamic.
Issuing a press release today, FNJ President Bishnu Prasad Ghimire expressed gratitude to the government for recently endorsing the ninth amendment to the ordinance related to land that the FNJ has been raising for long and sent it to the President for authentication.
“The FNJ expresses its sincere gratitude to the government for recommending the Land Ordinance, Ninth Amendment-2082 from the Council of Ministers to the Right Honorable President Ram Chandra Poudel for the approval,” reads a press release issued by the FNJ.
The Federation believes that the certification of the ordinance on land would provide relief to the entrepreneurs who have been facing problems for a long time due to land ceiling.
Chairman Ghimire said that with the promulgation of the ordinance, entrepreneurs will be able to sell housing and apartments that have not been sold due to land ceiling and the buyers will be able to get the land ownership certificates by passing them in their name.
According to the federation, property worth Rs 200 billion has been put on hold due to the ban on the sale of property in the name of limitation. According to the federation, the banks that invest in businessmen, customers and businessmen have also been in trouble due to the lockdown.
The federation has said that it is necessary to make the real estate sector dynamic as it is also an industry of industry. According to the federation, cement industries, rod industries, brick factories, timber industries, aluminum industries, gravel and sand industries would run well with the operation of the real estate sector.
Although the local government has taken the responsibility of land classification, the federation has urged the government to resolve the issue permanently.
The ordinance that the incumbent government is trying to bring by understanding the problems of entrepreneurs will benefit not only the entrepreneurs but the entire state.
