Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank has been awarded the ‘South Asian Federation of Accountants Award 2024’. South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) has awarded the bank with ‘Certificate of Merit’ award under the financial services sector.

South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) has announced the recognition for financial transparency, accountability and governance based on its annual report for FY 2023÷24. The financial statement prepared by the bank for presentation at its 18th Annual General Meeting (AGM) presented the bank’s details to the shareholders and stakeholders in an excellent manner.

SAFA presented the award to the bank at a function held in Islamabad, Pakistan. Last year, the development bank was also successful in winning the SAFA Award. The South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) is a network partner of the International Federation of Accountants (IFA) which consists of Chartered Accountant Bodies from eleven South Asian regions including Nepal, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Maldives and Afghanistan. Every year, SAFA awards in various categories based on the evaluation of published financial reports in the South Asian region.

The bank’s financial report was presented with ‘Gold Award’ in the category of Financial Services by Chartered Accountants Institute of Nepal, Nepal presented with ‘National Best Report Award 2024’.
