Jhapa. Tea worth Rs 1.37 billion has been exported from Kakarvitta in the first four months of the current fiscal year.
Information Officer at the Mechi Customs Office, Ishwor Kumar Humagain said 4.688 million kilograms of tea was exported to India in the review period. This is 37 percent less than the same period last year.
Tea worth Rs 2.20 billion was exported during the same period last year. This is less than Rs 83.17 crore in the current fiscal year.
