Kathmandu. A total of 169 people who were injured during the Genji agitation in Kathmandu on September 7 and 24 have been classified. According to the District Administration Office, Kathmandu, a total of 169 injured have been classified after receiving details of the injured so far.
Assistant Chief District Officer and Assistant Spokesperson of Kathmandu, Mukti Ram Rijal, said that the injured have been classified in two phases.
The injured have been categorized into four groups, he said, adding that 15 are listed as very serious injured, 51 in serious injury, 36 in medium and 67 in minor injuries.
According to him, the classification of the injured was carried out in two phases on November 22 and November 29. In the case of the disabled, the team went to the treating hospital and classified them, he said.
In the case of those who have difficulty coming to the administration office, it has been categorized by ambulance. The classification facilitation committee led by the CDO has so far classified 169 people on the basis of the working procedure for classification of those injured during the Genji demonstration, 2082.
The District Administration Office would complete the classification and send a recommendation to the Ministry of Health and Population and the Ministry would make arrangements for necessary service and facilities and social security as per the list of the injured. Initially, the administration had issued licenses to 315 people for the display of Genji.
