Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: The Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) has announced its unification with the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA).
Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel and Prime Minister Sushila Karki signed an agreement to this effect in the presence of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers. Elected from the 11th General Convention, Dr. Badri KC and Chairman Mahesh Shrestha have signed an agreement for the unification. The historic unification between the two groups of NRNA has been achieved with the special initiative and initiation of Minister Kharel.
Badri KC, the working committee president elected from the 11th international general convention, and Mahesh Kumar Shrestha, president of the working committee elected from the general convention of unity, signed the agreement.
On the occasion, Minister Kharel urged the government to make the broader unity sustainable. “Today, the NRNA has signed a comprehensive agreement. This signature is on paper. Let this signature remain in both the mind and the mind. Practical implementation and sustainable unity. We can move forward by uniting, not by splitting. I thank and extend best wishes to all who played a role in making the unification possible. ”
Minister Kharel said that the unification of NRNA has given a positive message to 80 lakh Non-Resident Nepalis. He said, “In the ups and downs of the establishment of NRNA in Nepal, you had worked with different weight, dignity, trust and respect. In recent years, it has been declining. Because there was a split between the NRNAs. Now a big opportunity has come. Rise above the party and establish it as an organization of the people. ”
Saying the support provided during disasters like earthquake, blockade, coronavirus pandemic was commendable, Minister Kharel urged the NRNA to rise above politics and take initiatives to bring more investment for the country’s economic prosperity. He also praised NRNA for its risk-taking investment. Minister Kharel expressed the belief that the government would facilitate the issues raised by NRNA.
