Kathmandu. Prime Minister Sushila Karki has stressed that all sides should be united on national issues.
During a meeting with a delegation led by RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar on Saturday, President Bhandari said that all sides should be united on national issues and collaboration was necessary for reforms in the country.
PM Karki said he suffered a lot of losses in the past due to quarrels and disagreements in different names, stressing on the need for all to move ahead with patience to avert further losses, said PM’s press coordinator Ram Bahadur Rawat.
“There is a need to move ahead by protecting the achievements made in the country rather than just creating new problems,” he said. Let’s not just solve the problem, let’s take care of it. If there is a disagreement, let’s go to the people with our opinion. Let’s implement our agenda with the approval of the people. ”
Prime Minister Karki said that no one is a relative or an outsider for himself and the government and expressed commitment that no one would be discriminated against for any reason. “We respectfully accept suggestions from you and anyone else,” he said. Many cases of corruption have come forward. We will not remain silent on this matter. There is a lot of effort to spoil the environment of the country, if we get entangled in this, the country will never rise. Therefore, the government will move forward. ”
Prime Minister Karki said that it would not be good if impunity was promoted and it would not be allowed to happen this time. “Innocent children have been killed while walking on the streets. Whatever recommendation comes in the report of the probe commission on this issue will be implemented,” he said.
Stating that the government was trying to control the tendency of spending money on elections, he urged all including RPP to move ahead in a frugal manner for fair elections.
