Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Nepal Life Insurance Company Limited has contributed Rs 1.5 crore to the Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund established by the government.
Chairman of Board of Directors of the company Govinda Lal Sanghai, Director Kamlesh Kumar Agrawal and Chief Executive Officer of the company Pravin Raman Parajuli jointly handed over the cheque worth one crore and fifty lakh rupees to the Honorable Finance Minister Rameshwor Prasad Khanal at the Ministry of Finance on Monday.
The insurance company has contributed the amount to the Physical Infrastructure Reconstruction Fund as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for the reconstruction, economic recovery and relief of the damage caused during the Genji demonstrations on September 7 and 24.
Finance Minister Rameshwor Prasad Khanal thanked Nepal Life Insurance for its support. It is also informed that Rs 11.82 crore has been deposited in the fund till Monday.
