Dang. Structures are being constructed in the industrial village under construction at Tulsipur Sub-metropolis-16 in Dang district. Now, the sanitation processing industry has started constructing structures.
Smart Multiconcept Group will collect and process waste and prepare raw materials for the manufacture of plastic products. Proprietor Rabindra Bikram KC said the new factory was to be established as waste management has become challenging in the market.
He said that the same industry has also planned to purchase agricultural products, process and market them. According to him, this has been done to stop the current youths in the country as well as to prevent the problem of marketization seen in the agriculture sector.
He also said that preparations have been made to ‘refuel’ the fire fighters in Tulsipur. “This is a social campaign we want to do”, he said, adding, “Our role will be in rubber industry, marketisation of agriculture and fire fighting by processing waste.” According to him, the structure is being constructed at a cost of around Rs 33 lakh.
Tikaram Khadka, mayor of Tulsipur Sub-Metropolitan City, said that the municipality would waive tax for five years if they wanted to operate their business by constructing structures in the same industrial village. He said that the sub-metropolis would make arrangements to pay minimum tax if the structures are constructed.
He also said that the city police would be deployed along with housing for the security of the industrial village. The industrial village is going to be established on the bank of Gwar rivulet. Where one hundred and three people had encroached upon the house and built tents. The land was allocated for the industrial village by giving one and a half kattha to each house to those who built the houses. The industrial village is being constructed on 13 bigha of land.
A wall has also been erected at the industrial village site some time ago. The sub-metropolis has allocated Rs 50 lakh for the construction of infrastructures in the industrial village area. Om Bahadur Oli, a grill entrepreneur, said that the establishment of an industrial village would make it easier for the entrepreneurs. He also said that there is a lot of problem in the market now. Similarly, Shalikram Basnet, a printing press entrepreneur, said that the rent would be cheaper and easier if the industrial village was constructed.
