Kathmandu. A meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Monday took various 27 decisions.
Government Spokesperson and Minister for Communications and Information Technology Jagadish Kharel made public the decisions taken by the meeting at a press meet here today.
The government has decided to approve the Administrative and Economic Standards related to the operation of the National Economic Census-2082.
The meeting also decided to appoint Bhupal Baral, Revenue Secretary at the Ministry of Finance, to the post of Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Employees Provident Fund.
Similarly, the government has set a ceiling on cash transactions through financial institutions or banking instruments while buying, selling any services or goods of value of Rs 500 thousand or more at a time from January 15.
