Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Laxmi Sunrise Bank has formally launched the 7th edition of the digital December 2025 campaign with an aim to promote digital banking.
While the bank has been running consumer-centric campaigns in the past, this year’s edition is focused towards making enterprises and businesses digitally empowered and enabled. The campaign launched with the theme “Enterprise Empowerment” aims to orient the business structures across the country towards modern digital mediums.
The month-long campaign will cover diverse business groups including Cottage, Small and Medium Enterprises, Corporate Organisations, Associations, Retail & Wholesale Businesses, Healthcare, Education, Information Technology and Hospitality Sector, among others. The main objective of the campaign is to integrate Nepal’s business system with digital channels and encourage enterprises to transform the transaction to secure, fast and transparent digital payment solutions reducing the amount of cash and cheque based transactions.
Under the campaign, the bank has been providing a medium to receive payments, virtual and physical card facility for the employees of organizations, integration with corporate payment systems and real time payment information. According to the bank, daily business and entrepreneurs doing business through digital medium will also get special discounts, customizable services and basic facilities.
According to Suman Prasad Gelal, Head of Digital Channels & Remittance Department of the Bank, Digital December 2025 reinforces the Bank’s leading role in enterprise payment innovation. The bank believes that with the use of digital infrastructure and modern payment technology, Nepal will move towards creating a digital-friendly, secure and sustainable business environment. The campaign is expected to contribute significantly towards advancing businesses towards modernization while promoting the digital economy.
