Kathmandu. The stock market is in the red. The index, which measures the market, decreased by 13.52 points to sit at 2631.17 points.

Today, 1,08,73,372 units of shares of 332 companies worth Rs 5,23,56,99,337 were traded. The prices of 74 companies increased while the prices of 177 companies declined.

The sub-indices of finance companies, hotels, production and processing groups increased while the sub-indices of other sub-indices decreased. The price of 5 companies has hit the positive circuit.

Sagar Distillery, Mithila Laghubitta, Jhapa Energy, Swastik Laghubitta and Srinagar Agritech remained in the positive circuit today.
