The Green Promotion Project under the metropolis has started providing free Wi-Fi service at Shankhadhar Park by installing 6 routers of Nepal Telecom.

Suresh Kumar Shrestha, technician of Shankhadhar Park and Ranipokhari unit, said that free internet service will be provided in all places of Ratnapark within December.

“We are installing internet with 500 Mbps capacity by bringing six routers of Nepal Telecom for free Wi-Fi,” he said.

The face of Ratnapark has changed after the Kathmandu Metropolitan City reconstructed and managed it in the fiscal year 2072÷73 BS at a cost of around Rs 8 million.
