Kathmandu. KATHMANDU: Pradip Adhikari, the suspended Director General of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), has been sent to Dillibazar jail.

The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Wednesday filed a corruption case at the Special Court against seven persons, including Adhikari, on the charge of embezzling Rs 135 million in the construction of a helipad at Nalinchowk, Bhaktapur.

A division bench of Justices Hemanta Rawal, Dilli Ratna Shrestha and Bidur Koirala issued the order today.
