Corruption at Pokhara Airport: Dr. CIAA files case against 55 people, including five former ministers, including Mahat

Kathmandu. The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a corruption case at the Special Court against 55 persons, including former minister and former secretary, on the charge of corruption in the construction of Pokhara International Airport.

According to court sources, the case is currently being verified. It will be registered shortly. According to sources, the commission has filed cases against 55 people claiming a loss of Rs 8 billion. The commission has also appointed former ministers Dr. Ram Sharan Mahat, Ram Kumar Shrestha, Post Bahadur Bogati, Bhim Acharya and Dipak Amatya are among the 10 secretaries named as defendants in the case.

Similarly, the case has also been filed against Pradip Adhikari, the then project manager of the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN), who is currently suspended.
